Eligibility: Open to all artists, original work only: no copies, prints, crafts, giclée, or class/workshop pieces. The Guild will be accepting painting (including mixed media, collages), sculpture (including wood, glass, ceramic) and photography. No artwork previously shown at the Guild will be accepted. Entry Procedure: All work must be hand delivered. Two-dimensional work must not exceed 48" on any side. Work must be dry, suitably framed, wired and ready for hanging, no alligator clips. Plexiglass is required for all works over 20" x 28". Wraparound canvas must be painted on all sides, without staples. Non-conforming work will be rejected at the discretion of the receiving committee. All accepted work must be for sale and remain until the show ends. The Guild receives a 33 1/3% commission on all sales. Limit of two entries per artist. Fee: Members- $15 for one entry; $25 for two entries. Insurance: Artists are encouraged to provide insurance at their own discretion. Delivery of Art: Wednesday, October 1, noon - 7 P.M. Acceptance: Notification of work accepted for the show will be made by e-mail. If you do not have e-mail, you may call the Guild after 3 P.M. on Thursday, Oct. 2. Judge: Stacy Smith, affiliated with the Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ. She has previously distinguished herself as a juror and judge in statewide competitions. Reception: Sunday, October 5, 3 - 5 P.M. Awards will be announced and presented at 4 P.M. Awards: Best in Show; Best in Category (Painting, Photography, Sculpture) $300 each category; Honorable Mention, three each category; Kojola Award for Realism (Painting) - $100; Mitchell Award for Acrylic - $100; Plein Air Painters (PAPJC) - $100; Friedlander Award for Abstract -$50; People’s Choice Award - Basket of Gift Certificates. Pick-Up Declines: Friday, October 3, noon - 4 P.M. End of Show Pick-Up: Thursday, October 30, noon - 7 P.M. Note: There will be a $5.00 per day charge for late pick-up of declines & at end of show. No exceptions.
