March 17, 2007
3:00 to 5:00 pm.
Roberta Carter Clark will provide a critique of your work (see
below).
Only $5!
Beginning in March, we are initiating a series of "Saturday Salons" for
members and guests dedicated to "Artists Helping Artists". Each
Salon will have a topic and a discussion leader. There will be refreshments
and a good opportunity to meet with other members, to introduce potential new
members to the Guild, and to discuss various art related issues. The will
be a $5 donation per attendee.
The initial Salon will be hosted by Roberta
Carter Clark. Roberta has generously volunteered
to provide a critique and discussion of works of art provided by
attendees. You don't need to bring art work to attend, the
discussion is intended to benefit all. Due to time constraints,
Roberta will critique the works of a maximum of 8 people, with
five works provided by each person. The works must be either
framed or matted.
This will be a positive
discussion to pinpoint those items that might bring the works to
the next level. Discussion
will be encouraged.
Look forward to seeing
you on March 17th. Those
who would like to bring 5 works for discussion, please contact me
by email or phone. The first 8 will be scheduled!
Additional Salons are
being planned. Suggest
a topic!
