Bill attended the Art Students League in New York City and Brookdale Community College, Monmouth County NJ. He has also studied with noted artists Pat Lafferty and Anthony Ventura.

He has participated in juried group shows at The Guild of Creative Art, Shrewsbury NJ, the Coryell Gallery, Lambertville NJ, and The Old Mill Gallery, Clinton NJ. and has won awards at the alumni shows at Brookdale College and the Geraldine Thompson Art Shows, Monmouth County NJ. His paintings are included in the annual "Festival of the Arts" at Shrewsbury NJ. Bill was commissioned for a photo shoot for Modern Maturity Magazine for Gallo Wine Co., Modesto California. Currently some of his paintings are on display at the Sheraton, Eatontown NJ as part of a group show. He has been represented by The Anchor and Palette Gallery, Bayhead NJ. His paintings are in many private collections throughout the United States.

Bill is an Associate member of the Guild of Creative Art, the Garden State Watercolor Society, and the American Watercolor Society.

Bill's work reflects scenes of his boyhood growing up in the Lambertville NJ and New Hope Pennsylvania area and his present home at the Jersey Shore. He likes to paint weathered buildings, ancient churches, lighthouses etc. and feels he can best express this local color through the fluid, free medium of watercolor.
