Sculptor of Wood, Stone and Bronze

Doug's scope of art encompasses the abstract, geometric shapes; as well as, true life representation of people and wildlife in various mediums. His three-dimensional likenesses have a compelling attraction to be felt, which he encourages.

His abstracts are in harmony with the materials used from Nature. He discovers shapes and forms suggested by the natural growth or formation of the medium. Convex and concave planes are played against each other to reveal intriguing forms.

He creates a realistic portrayal of both figures and animals in the same in the manner of the Old World Masters, with devotion to quality, accuracy and detail. The size of these works span from the miniature to monumental. Doug is a skillful artisan who takes pride in creating the best in wood, bronze and stone!
